In the aftermath of the Christchurch earthquakes and the Queensland floods, three of New Zealand's best (and in the case of 2 of them craziest) breweries got together over a few beers and decided to help out in the way knew best - brewing some awesome beer. So, a saison yeast, heaps of hops and plenty of malt later, the guys from Yeastie Boys, 8 Wired and Renaissance came out with a charitable offering that is also a beer - Rescue Red Ale.
$170 per keg will be donated to The Premier's Flood Relief fund by the importer Innspire.
Rescue Red Ale is a 4.8% red Saison. Growler fills will be $29.50 but get in quick as we have just just one keg!
